The final vote tally is in and our campaign has come up a little short.
I want to first start by saying thank you to all of the people that were by my side from the beginning to the end. I am proud of the campaign that we ran. So many people showed support and helped this campaign. Whether you made monetary donations, volunteered at a fundraiser, helped put signs out, worked at a polling location, planted a yard sign on your lawn or helped in any way; thank you. Without the help of my family, friends and the many volunteers I wouldn’t have been able to do this.
During this process, I have made so many new friends and have built, what I believe, will be lasting relationships with countless Canton residents. Thank you for believing in this campaign. My sincere gratitude to you for having the confidence and faith in me to have won your vote.
To my number one and only, Nicole, everything I asked of you, you did it and more. I can’t begin to tell you how unbelievably amazing you are. I couldn't have done this without you. Your support for me is unwavering, you always have my back and you continue to make me a better man every single day. I love you!
Although today ends my campaign to become a Canton Trustee, it does not and will not end my activism, my involvement in the Canton community and it will never silence me.
With Honor, Respect and Devotion to Duty.
